Registered Nurse – In‑home Patient Support (Casual/Part‑time)

About the role

Calian’s Patient Support Program is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide in‑home infusion and injection support to patients in Maynooth, ON and surrounding areas. This casual, part‑time position offers flexible scheduling that can complement your existing commitments while delivering high‑quality care directly in patients’ homes.

Key responsibilities

• Administer in‑home infusions, injections, and provide training on auto‑injection and self‑injection devices.
• Perform phlebotomy as required.
• Schedule appointments directly with patients or designated caregivers.
• Conduct visits at the patient’s home or other approved locations and provide follow‑up as needed.
• Complete timely charting using Calian’s proprietary electronic system.
• Report any possible adverse events within 24 hours.
• Fulfill additional duties related to patient support as required.

Required profile

• Valid nursing licence in the province of Ontario.
• Minimum two years of hands‑on post‑graduation nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to work independently, organise and prioritise patient visits.
• Excellent documentation, time‑management and customer‑service skills.
• Home office with computer, internet connection and mobile phone.
• Valid driver’s licence and an insured personal vehicle.

• Compensation of $40 CAD per hour plus mileage and travel time.
