About the role
The Registered Nurse will provide a wide variety of nursing services to clients in the home care program, ensuring safety, well‑being, and coordinated care across interdisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities
- Assess client needs, develop and modify care plans, and coordinate internal and external resources.
- Facilitate client and family teaching, ensure timely referrals, and provide direct wound care, palliative support, and home parenteral therapy as needed.
Required profile
- Completion of an accredited nursing program and active or eligible registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta.
- Current BCLS‑HCP certification and ability to perform physical tasks associated with home visits.
Required skills
- Wound care and palliative care expertise.
- Experience with home parenteral therapy.
- Proficiency in Connect Care, Service Authorizations, RAI‑HC, Netcare, and AADLs.
What we offer
- Hourly pay ranging from $44.56 to $60.98 CAD, with higher rates for provisional permit holders.
- Flexible shift patterns including days, evenings, weekends, and on‑call duties.
