Registered Nurse – Health Links Info Santé (Night/Weekend)

About the role

The Health Links – Info Santé team at Misericordia Health Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide 24/7 clinical support via a call centre. You will assess callers, guide them to appropriate care levels, and process home‑care referrals for Manitobans receiving services in Manitoba.

Key responsibilities

• Answer calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, performing assessments and providing health‑related information.
• Document demographic data and encounter details in the electronic health record.
• Use approved protocols, the nursing process, and clinical judgment to triage and advise callers.
• Process new home‑care program nursing referrals from physicians, walk‑in clinics, hospitals and out‑of‑province sources.
• Provide after‑hours problem‑solving assistance to home‑care nurses on operational and clinical issues.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of recent clinical experience in a community or home‑care setting.
• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program.
• Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) and CPR certification per employer policy.
• Fluency in English; French and additional languages are assets.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and triage skills; ability to establish rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.

Required skills

• Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation.
• Clinical triage and assessment using protocol‑driven criteria.
• Computer proficiency for data entry and information retrieval.
• CPR certification.
