About the role

Laboratoire Medical Lapointe, a trusted blood‑testing centre in Montréal, is looking for a Registered Nurse to join its team at the Queen Elizabeth Health Complex. The position can be full‑time or part‑time and focuses on collecting blood samples while upholding professional and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform blood sample collection from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow workplace safety, hygiene, and infection‑prevention protocols.
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards set by the health authority.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Communicate effectively with patients, demonstrating empathy and clear instructions.

Required profile

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Quebec.
• Strong clinical skills, including patient care and assessment.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and infection‑prevention standards.
• Ability to follow health‑authority guidance and regulations.
• Effective communication skills and empathy toward patients.
• Prior experience in a laboratory or diagnostic setting is an asset but not mandatory.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems are a plus.
• Experience living or working in a cultural context other than one’s own is an asset.
