Registered Nurse – Clinical Program Coordinator, Retinoblastoma

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as Clinical Program Coordinator for the Retinoblastoma program within our Ophthalmology Clinic. The role supports infants and children diagnosed with retinoblastoma, guiding them and their families through diagnosis, treatment and follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage patient care from referral intake through diagnostic work‑up, treatment planning, procedures and follow‑up.
• Act as the primary point of contact for patients and caregivers, providing education, support and guidance throughout the treatment journey.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among multidisciplinary team members, internal and external partners.
• Ensure timely access to care for patients across Canada by overseeing referral processes and scheduling.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification.
• Interest in pediatric ophthalmology/oncology and the Retinoblastoma program.
• Ability to coordinate complex patient pathways and support families.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with patients, families and healthcare professionals.
