Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Services

About the role

The Ambulatory Clinical Services team is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Pamela & Paul Austin Centre for Neurology & Behavioural Support. This full‑time, temporary position (up to 18 months) works in a fast‑paced outpatient setting supporting the Sam & Ida Ross Memory Clinic and the Virtual Behavioural Medicine program.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct evidence‑based clinical assessments for patients with neurodegenerative brain disorders.
• Provide expert clinical counseling and coordinate access to services for patients, families, and caregivers.
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing interventions, including medication administration within RN scope.
• Triaging, coordinating, and facilitating clinical resources and referrals.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and research embedded in clinical practice.
• Mentor students and novice practitioners and collaborate within an interprofessional team.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Experience in outpatient or memory‑clinic settings preferred.
• Ability to work independently, take professional accountability, and lead care activities.
• Strong knowledge of neuro‑degenerative disorders and community resources.
