Regional Facilities Manager – North America

About the role

Amazon Worldwide Operations seeks a Regional Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of both hard (building assets and infrastructure) and soft (janitorial, waste, pest control, snow removal) facilities services across North American fulfillment centers. The role combines strategic planning, cross‑functional project execution, and technical leadership to ensure safety, compliance, and minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure base‑building maintenance and soft services meet network standards and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Subject Matter Experts to manage cost drivers and mitigation strategies.
• Provide tools and guidance for local teams to monitor performance of hard and soft services.
• Act as technical vendor manager, mentoring site‑based facilities leads and measuring performance via KPIs and SLAs.
• Serve as escalation point for safety, quality, and downtime incidents.
• Partner with Field RME, Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders to drive improvements.
• Analyze service and asset data to identify improvement opportunities and support technology or sustainability initiatives.
• Lead pilot projects and regional rollouts of new processes or technologies.
• Travel to operational sites up to 50% of the time.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities or building services management at a regional or multi‑site level.
• Strong project management and cross‑team coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.
• Ability to influence and build relationships across various organizational levels.
