Red Seal Electrician – Fire & Life Safety Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Red Seal Electrician to service and install fire and life‑safety electrical systems for client buildings across British Columbia. The role reports to the General Manager and works closely with the operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Service and troubleshoot AC and DC circuitry related to fire and life safety.
• Install wiring for sprinkler compressors, fire pump controllers, emergency lighting, and assist with fire alarm installations.
• Diagnose and repair fire alarm system components.
• Support inspections and provide next‑level customer experiences.
• Adhere to core values, health‑safety protocols, and company policies.

Required profile

• Red Seal (or comparable) electrical certification.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical trade experience.
• Experience with fire and life‑safety applications.
• Valid BC driver’s licence and ability to obtain required security clearances.
• Detail‑oriented, solution‑focused and able to work in a fast‑paced team environment.

Required skills

• Red Seal Electrical certification.
• Electrical trade expertise (5+ years).
• Fire and life‑safety system installation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of BC Building Code and/or BC Fire Code.
• Valid BC driver’s licence.
