Recruitment Specialist – Talent Acquisition (RPO)

About the role

IBM Consulting is looking for a Recruitment Specialist to join its Talent Acquisition Optimization (TAO) team. You will focus on generating candidates through direct sourcing and research, supporting both passive and active talent pools for a variety of client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in discovery meetings with hiring managers to define expectations, timelines, and sourcing strategies.
• Consult hiring managers on role requirements and market talent supply considerations.
• Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies, including passive outreach, recruitment marketing, and talent pool mining.
• Drive programs, events, and campaigns to build referrals and a robust candidate pipeline.
• Conduct projects such as email marketing, competitor organization mapping, target‑company research, social media outreach, cold calling, and networking activities.
• Apply screening and selection criteria to identify qualified candidates and assess their strengths.
• Act as a brand ambassador, engaging passive candidates and maintaining their interest in IBM Consulting opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in direct sourcing and candidate generation for both passive and active talent.
• Ability to manage individual requisition loads and collaborate closely with hiring managers from intake to offer negotiation.
• Strong market knowledge and the capacity to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies.
• Excellent communication skills to convey the client’s employee value proposition and discuss industry and role specifics with candidates.
