Recruiter – Talent Advisor (Hybrid, Toronto)

About the role

The Recruiter V acts as a Talent Advisor for a designated portfolio, supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle. This 12‑month hybrid position (1–2 days onsite) is based in Toronto and offers a pay rate starting at $35 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a Talent Advisor, providing market insights and guiding talent decisions.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes and specialized talent acquisition programs.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using industry best practices and market data.
• Build and maintain diverse candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Advise hiring managers on talent market conditions, sourcing approaches, and recruitment plans.
• Deliver an exceptional experience for both hiring managers and candidates.
• Maintain knowledge of HR policies, recruitment procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with HR partners, Centres of Excellence, and business stakeholders to understand talent requirements.
• Analyze recruitment metrics to refine sourcing strategies and reporting.
• Promote the employer brand through advertising, networking, and social media.
• Represent the organization at recruitment events and hiring fairs.
• Prioritize workload to meet service level agreements and recruitment timelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing full‑cycle recruitment for a defined portfolio.
• Strong understanding of HR policies, recruitment compliance, and talent market trends.
• Ability to build relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, and external candidates.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills.
