About the role

We are seeking a motivated Real Estate Litigation Lawyer to join a dynamic legal team in Toronto. The role involves managing a diverse portfolio of real‑estate and professional liability claims, developing tailored strategies, and delivering successful outcomes for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a portfolio of litigation files with a focus on real‑estate matters.
• Analyze claims, identify legal and practical risks, and devise resolution strategies.
• Collaborate with external counsel, providing direction on litigation approach and case progression.
• Work directly with clients to offer guidance, support, and practical solutions.
• Adjust strategies proactively as files evolve to achieve optimal results.
• Contribute to risk‑mitigation and loss‑prevention initiatives while leveraging technology for efficient case management.

Required profile

• Licensed to practice law in Ontario and in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience, preferably with exposure to real‑estate disputes.
• Experience in civil litigation, insurance, estates, or commercial matters is an asset.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive mindset with creativity in problem‑solving and a collaborative approach.
