About the role
McGill’s Desautels Faculty of Management seeks a Ranked Contract Academic Staff (CAS) member to teach in the Information Systems area. The appointment begins on 1 January 2027 and is renewable for up to three years.
Key responsibilities
- Teach up to eight course sections per academic year, primarily in the Master of Management in Analytics program and also in MBA and BCom programs as needed.
- Contribute to the administration of the Information Systems area and the Faculty, supporting curriculum development and academic planning.
Required profile
- PhD in Information Systems or a closely related field.
- Minimum five years of university‑level teaching experience, with a strong record in teaching analytics, AI, or machine‑learning courses at the master’s level.
- Ability to teach courses on analytics, artificial intelligence, and advanced digital technologies.
- Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of French or willingness to learn French is desirable.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
