Quality Engineering Lead – Mississauga

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Quality Engineering Lead to drive validation and quality assurance for its banking and payments solutions in Mississauga. The role involves analysing requirements, defining test strategies and leading execution to ensure defect‑free delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct requirement analysis and design comprehensive test strategies.
• Lead end‑to‑end quality engineering activities including SIT, UAT and release readiness.
• Validate payment interfaces, file integrations, APIs, ETL workflows and data‑warehouse solutions.
• Manage test planning, test case creation, traceability matrices and test documentation.
• Coordinate defect triage, issue management, risk mitigation and release governance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using JIRA and Confluence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or at least three years of progressive experience per missing year of education.
• Minimum four years of software testing experience, preferably in banking, cards or payments domains.
• Authorized to work in Canada without employer‑sponsored visa.
• Located within commuting distance of Mississauga or willing to relocate.

Required skills

• API testing tools such as Postman or SOAP UI.
• JIRA and Confluence for test management and collaboration.
• Database validation and data‑quality testing (SQL).
• Experience with ETL processes and data‑warehouse testing.
• Strong knowledge of SIT, UAT, functional testing and release readiness.
• Ability to create test strategies, plans, scenarios, RTM and documentation.
