Quality Control Inspector

About the role

De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join its aerospace manufacturing team in Calgary. The role is responsible for ensuring that all components and assemblies meet the strict airworthiness and customer quality standards through thorough inspections and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve product inspection plans.
• Perform in‑process and final inspections of detail parts, minor and structural assemblies, and record results.
• Control and document non‑conforming material in accordance with company quality procedures.
• Manage the calibration, verification and control of monitoring and measuring devices.
• Collaborate with quality, methods, design engineering and supply‑chain teams to resolve technical issues and drive root‑cause corrective actions.
• Monitor, measure and communicate product and process metrics, and support improvement projects.
• Assist in quality reviews of engineering documentation and support corrective‑action requests arising from trend analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of aerospace‑specific quality inspection experience or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on inspection or production experience.
• Familiarity with airworthiness, company and customer quality requirements.
• Ability to work with engineering and supply‑chain stakeholders to develop resolutions.
