Quality Assurance Analyst

About the role

As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Soucy, you will ensure that every component supplied meets the highest industry standards. You will validate, inspect and approve parts, coordinate corrective actions and contribute to continuous improvement of the quality system.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee product quality planning (APQP) and prepare PPAP documentation for new product launches.
• Conduct measurement system analysis (MSA), repeatability & reproducibility studies and quality tests during development and prototyping.
• Analyze production data using SPC, Six Sigma and control process capability (Cp/Cpk).
• Lead problem‑solving activities, manage customer complaints and supplier corrective actions using tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, PDCA and FMEA.
• Document and disseminate quality procedures, ensure ISO 9001 compliance through audits, and support supplier selection and evaluation.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in mechanical, industrial engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in a similar quality role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP and PPAP requirements.
• Excellent organizational, project‑management and communication skills in both French and English.
• Leadership ability to guide cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Quality tools: FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, Ishikawa, Six Sigma.
• Interpretation of technical drawings and contractual documents.
• Metrology knowledge; familiarity with CMM equipment (a plus).
• Proficiency with ERP systems and production data management.
• Process‑mapping tools such as Visio or equivalents.
