QA Support Engineer

About the role

PheedLoop is looking for a QA Support Engineer to join its fast‑growing engineering team in Toronto. You will help ensure the quality and reliability of our event‑technology platform by designing, executing, and automating tests for new and existing features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute test plans and test cases for product features.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress or similar tools.
• Identify, document and track bugs through resolution using Linear.
• Perform regression testing for every release to protect existing functionality.
• Collaborate with engineers and product leads to clarify requirements and improve quality.
• Validate builds in CI/CD pipelines and catch issues before they reach production.
• Support performance and load testing to ensure scalable deployments.
• Act as a technical point of contact for escalated support tickets, reproducing issues and working with the development team.

Required profile

• 0‑1+ years of professional software development or testing experience.
• Strong understanding of test‑driven development and clean code practices.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Quick learner who embraces new technologies in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and eager to contribute to a collaborative team culture.
