Purchasing Agent

About the role

The Purchasing Agent supports FTAI Aviation’s supply chain by coordinating purchase orders, managing supplier interactions, and ensuring timely material flow throughout the procurement cycle. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the role helps maintain quality standards and drives continuous improvement in purchasing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively manage purchase orders for materials and services, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
• Support sourcing activities, including RFQ preparation, bid analysis, and creation of purchase, repair, and compliance documentation.
• Develop and optimise supplier relationships and sourcing strategies under supervision.
• Maintain accurate ERP data, updating supplier quotations, pricing, delivery schedules, and related information.
• Serve as the primary liaison between procurement and teams such as kitting/integration, production, engineering, and finance.
• Oversee day‑to‑day supplier quality issues, including returns processing, invoice discrepancies, and vendor performance monitoring.

Required profile

• DEP or DEC from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience in supply chain, purchasing, or material management, including kitting, Kanban, shortage management, and logistics operations.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent organisational skills.

What we offer

• Starting hourly rate $29.27‑$32.72 (CAD) with potential increase to $39.07.
