Proposal & Marketing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a strong writer and project coordinator to join a respected consulting engineering firm in Vancouver. The Proposal & Marketing Specialist will drive business development, manage high-quality proposal submissions, and enhance the firm’s marketing presence across the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry.

Key responsibilities

• Lead coordination, preparation and submission of proposals, qualification packages and related materials.
• Review RFPs, RFQs and tender documents to ensure compliance and timely delivery.
• Maintain proposal schedules, templates, project sheets, resumes and tracking tools.
• Support marketing initiatives such as social media content, website updates, project profiles and promotional materials.
• Create compelling written content including case studies, project descriptions and award submissions.
• Monitor procurement sites and track new business opportunities.
• Assist with conferences, events, sponsorships and industry relationship-building activities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in proposal coordination, marketing, business development or communications.
• Background in professional services, preferably architecture, engineering, construction or consulting.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and organizational abilities.
• Proven capacity to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite.
• Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite.
• WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Familiarity with BC Bid, MERX and Bids & Tenders portals.
