Project Manager – Contract Manufacturing

About the role

Debut Biotech is seeking a Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of contract‑manufacturing projects, from technology transfer through final product delivery. The role sits at the intersection of sales, R&D, and external manufacturing partners, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on spec, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full project lifecycle, acting as the single point of accountability once a formulation moves from R&D to production.
• Coordinate commercial and financial aspects with contract‑manufacturing partners, including pricing, quote review, cost changes, and purchase‑order alignment.
• Receive finalized formulations and technical packages from R&D and verify production readiness with external partners.
• Facilitate communication among sales, R&D scientists, account managers, and contract manufacturers to keep projects on track.
• Monitor project timelines, specifications, and budgets, addressing any issues that arise during manufacturing.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing projects that move from technology transfer to contract manufacturing.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams including sales, R&D, and external partners.
• Excellent organizational and financial oversight skills to manage budgets and pricing.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering products that meet client specifications.
