Project Manager – Construction

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Ottawa construction team, overseeing the successful delivery of building projects while upholding Broccolini’s core values.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and manage all facets of construction projects to meet cost, schedule and scope objectives.
• Develop project budgets, manage monthly progress, approve billings and produce monthly reporting.
• Coordinate project scheduling with Superintendents, identify risks and discuss schedules with clients.
• Contribute to tendering efforts, prepare tender analysis and administer contracts with trades.
• Lead design and construction meetings, liaise with subcontractors and consultants, and resolve conflicts.
• Implement and enforce HSE policies on site.
• Mentor and develop direct reports, ensuring team career growth.
• Maintain client satisfaction and manage expectations.
• Conduct regular site visits.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management roles.
• Engineering degree or technical diploma in Construction, Building, Civil or Architecture.
• Proven track record of successfully completed projects.
• Experience managing a team.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of MS Project.
• Excellent budgeting and scheduling skills.
