Project Manager – Calgary

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technology initiatives in Calgary, AB. The role involves building high‑performing teams, coordinating with business and vendor partners, and delivering state‑of‑the‑art solutions that support new products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Application Managers, Portfolio Management and other stakeholders to design and deploy technology solutions.
• Assemble and manage cross‑functional teams and vendor partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define project vision, success criteria, work plans, milestones, risk registers and change‑management processes.
• Maintain project budgets, forecast financials and report variances to executive sponsors.
• Conduct agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives) and incorporate continuous improvements.
• Manage relationships with third‑party integrators and vendors, ensuring delivery and support of enterprise systems.
• Create and execute communication plans to keep all stakeholders aligned.
• Apply project management best practices in line with the client’s delivery framework and governance requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent progressive experience.
• Minimum 8 years of project management experience on medium to large projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects of medium complexity.
• Experience delivering technology solutions and working with enterprise‑level vendors.
