Project Engineer – Water & Sewer Infrastructure

About the role

Wood Rodgers is looking for a licensed Project Engineer to lead water and sewer infrastructure projects in Orange. The role involves overseeing technical analyses, design, and construction support for a variety of water‑related facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and guide technical analyses, including hydraulics, feasibility studies, and preliminary and final engineering design.
• Prepare and review construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and PS&E packages for water wells, pump stations, storage tanks, pipelines, and sewer collection systems.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and supervise a small team of engineers and technical staff.
• Support bid and construction phases by evaluating bids, responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and assessing change proposals.
• Produce technical memoranda, reports, and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Licensed professional engineer with experience in water or sewer infrastructure projects.
• Strong project management abilities and experience supervising junior staff.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
