Project Coordinator

About the role

The Project Coordinator assists in planning, supervision and execution of construction projects, supporting the Project Manager and Superintendent with administration, field work, and communication with clients, engineers and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze specifications and drawings, prepare construction plans, schedules and material take‑offs.
• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with contract administration, shop‑drawing submittals and change‑order documentation.
• Monitor on‑site work to ensure compliance with design, specifications and building codes.
• Maintain project logs (RFIs, RFQs, purchase orders), daily reports, site photos and cost coding.
• Support health and safety compliance by preparing incident reports, inspections and required permits.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education or college diploma, preferably in civil engineering.
• Valid British Columbia driver’s licence and legal eligibility to work in Canada.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to plan, organise, multi‑task and meet strict deadlines.
