Project Coordinator

About the role

The Project Coordinator will support the Senior Project Manager, Special Projects, delivering multiple small‑scale construction projects across the City of Vancouver. This role bridges the project team, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendents in expediting critical project elements.
• Process subcontracts, purchase orders and progress claims for both prime and subcontractors.
• Manage change orders, evaluating cost and schedule impacts.
• Prepare and maintain site documentation, including meeting minutes from site visits and meetings.
• Support project profitability, schedule adherence and client expectations.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on‑site.
• Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely project accounting.
• Review subcontractor payment applications.
