Professional Hairstylist – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for a skilled hairstylist to join our vibrant studio in downtown Toronto. The role involves providing high‑quality hair services to a diverse clientele while maintaining a welcoming salon atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Book and manage client appointments efficiently.
• Wash, shampoo, and prepare clients' hair for styling.
• Perform cutting, trimming, tapering, curling, waving, perming, and overall styling.
• Apply colour treatments such as bleach, dyes, tints, highlights, and streaks.
• Suggest hairstyles that suit each client’s features and preferences.
• Supervise junior stylists and other salon staff.
• Handle receptionist duties, including greeting clients and answering phones.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.

Required profile

• 3 to less than 5 years of professional hairstyling experience.
• Valid Hairstylist Licence.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment.
• Strong manual dexterity, hand‑eye coordination, and stamina for standing long periods.

• Hair cutting, trimming, tapering.
• Hair curling, waving, perming, styling.
• Blow drying.
• Hair braiding.
• Iron waving/curling.
• Permanents.
• Extensions, twisting, pin curls, roller setting.
• Bleach, dyes/tints, streaking/highlights.
