Production Operator I

About the role

Griffith Foods is seeking a Production Operator I to join its manufacturing team. The role involves executing production tasks according to process instructions while maintaining strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Complete production tasks following process and operation instructions and record all production data.
• Adhere to GMP, food safety, and EHS requirements; wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Inspect equipment status, perform spot checks, and report any issues promptly.
• Stop production and report any product quality problems immediately.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work area, including daily cleaning of machinery and disposal of debris.
• Seal and label surplus materials to prevent cross‑contamination.
• Implement 5S visual management, TPM, and other operational standards in daily work.
• Report abnormal situations, equipment problems, and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Willingness to work on the production floor and perform physical tasks.
• Good observation skills to identify and report issues.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Understanding of food safety and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) regulations.
• Familiarity with 5S visual management and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) concepts.
• Basic equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Record‑keeping and documentation skills.
