Production Operator – Flexible Shift (Mon‑Thu 3:30pm‑2am / Fri‑Sun 6am‑6pm)

About the role

The Production Operator works on a rotating shift, either Monday‑Thursday from 3:30 pm to 2 am or Friday‑Sunday from 6 am to 6 pm. The role involves operating a machine in a safe, standards‑driven environment while supporting the flow of production.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that material batches allocated to the operation meet quality and quantity requirements.
• Coordinate with the Buffer Manager to ensure task priorities align with TOC‑based production flow.
• Report any product anomalies or variations to the team leader to prevent downstream rejections.
• Adjust machine settings according to the specific material being processed.
• Load parts into the machine’s infeed and retrieve finished parts from the outfeed.
• Repeat the operation as needed and re‑arrange parts into batches for the next production stage.
• Perform assembly tasks when required and undertake any additional duties assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma, equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Technical problem‑solving ability.
• Team‑oriented mindset with quick adaptability.
• Positive attitude and ability to lift/push 50 lb repeatedly (≈50 times per day).
• Knowledge of the VKS system is an asset.
