About the role
Join Gerdau’s Selkirk plant as a Production Helper, working 12‑hour rotating day/night shifts. You will support manufacturing operations, learn from senior staff, and gain experience with large industrial equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform physical labour and stand for extended periods in varying temperatures.
- Provide relief for absences and assist senior team members.
- Operate mobile equipment and, when possible, an overhead crane.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Required profile
- High school diploma (Grade 12) or GED.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting and with mobile equipment.
- Ability to work 40‑42 hours per week on a rotating schedule.
- Strong communication, math skills, attention to detail, and good work ethic.
