Product Finance & Strategy, Monetization

About the role

Anthropic is looking for a Finance & Strategy team member to own the economics of model monetization and to partner with Enterprise and Verticals product teams. You will shape pricing, packaging, and investment decisions that determine how businesses access frontier AI.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end model monetization: build and maintain financial models linking token economics, compute costs, and margin to pricing and packaging decisions.
• Serve as the Finance & Strategy partner for Enterprise and Verticals product teams, providing the financial lens on product development.
• Build business cases for enterprise and vertical product investments, sizing opportunities, modeling economics, and evaluating returns.
• Partner cross‑functionally with product, go‑to‑market, and compute stakeholders to assess pricing changes, new model launches, and consumption‑based offerings.
• Analyze unit‑economics and gross‑margin drivers, surfacing trends, risks, and opportunities for strategy.
• Track competitive and market landscape for AI monetization and enterprise adoption, delivering an outside‑in perspective.
• Form and defend a point of view on monetization and product investment decisions, delivering clear, opinionated recommendations.

Required profile

• High ownership and autonomy with a passion for building financial models.
• Comfort with ambiguous, hard questions and ability to form and defend data‑driven viewpoints.
• Strong analytical mindset, able to connect token economics, compute costs, and margin to business outcomes.
• Deep interest in AI and its evolving market dynamics.
