Product Engineer – AI Solutions for Chemical Manufacturing

About the role

Basetwo is seeking a Product Engineer to work with specialty chemical manufacturers on AI‑driven digital‑twin projects. You will act as the technical liaison between customers and the Basetwo platform, helping to accelerate process development, scale‑up, and quality control in lab‑scale and commercial environments.

Key responsibilities

• Partner directly with chemical manufacturing customers to deploy and scale AI‑powered digital‑twin solutions.
• Lead technical onboarding, implementation, and troubleshooting across pilot, lab, and full‑scale production sites.
• Analyze process data, build simulation models, and identify opportunities for scale‑up, tech transfer, and operational improvement.
• Translate customer challenges into actionable insights and measurable value using the Basetwo platform.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to define new use cases and influence product direction.

Required profile

• Strong background in chemical or process engineering, preferably with experience in specialty chemicals, pharma, or personal care manufacturing.
• Comfortable communicating with plant engineers, scientists, operators, and senior leadership.
• Proven ability to solve technical problems in cross‑functional, customer‑facing environments.

Required skills

• Python programming for data analysis and model development.
