Produce Store Cashier (Experienced) – Customer Service

About the role

Join Maison Fresh, a premium produce and plant‑based prepared foods store located in Toronto’s St. Lawrence Market. As a Produce Store Cashier you will be the welcoming face of the shop, helping customers discover local, organic, and seasonal Ontario foods while delivering fast, friendly service.

Key responsibilities

• Process sales at the register using debit/credit POS systems.
• Engage with customers, share product knowledge and answer questions.
• Restock and merchandise packaged and fresh produce.
• Maintain a tidy, organized retail space.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including cash handling.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service or cashier roles.
• Ability to project your voice in a noisy market environment.
• Fluent English with basic math and computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work weekends.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Experience with front‑end POS systems.
• Cash and debit transaction handling.
