Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

Cryopak is looking for a proactive Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist to manage purchasing, inventory, supplier negotiations, logistics and production planning across its operations in Canada, the United States and France. The role is ideal for an analytical professional with strong procurement experience, advanced Excel expertise and a passion for cost optimisation and material availability.

Key responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders for raw materials, equipment and services and manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process.
• Maintain inventory levels using min/max and safety‑stock strategies.
• Monitor open orders, shipments and supplier performance to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms and contracts with suppliers.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities through sourcing, logistics and process improvements.
• Support freight and transportation optimisation initiatives.
• Analyse procurement and supply‑chain KPIs using Excel dashboards and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Finance, Maintenance and Sales teams to meet business objectives.
• Maintain supplier records, pricing updates and ERP master data.
• Assist with new product costing and continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 3–5 years of purchasing or supply‑chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, dashboards).
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Bilingual French and English (English essential for 75% of communications).
