Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to ensure that the right materials, products and supplier support are available when needed, keeping our manufacturing and distribution operations running smoothly. The role acts as a bridge between purchasing, operations, inventory management and vendors to prevent shortages and support day‑to‑day execution.

Key responsibilities

• Review purchase needs and inventory levels in the ERP system and generate or adjust purchase orders.
• Follow up with suppliers to confirm delivery dates, resolve pricing discrepancies, backorders and lead‑time issues.
• Communicate delays, shortages or supply risks to internal stakeholders such as Operations, Logistics, Finance and Customer Service.
• Support urgent operational requirements while maintaining proper purchasing controls and documentation.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships, participate in evaluations, cost reviews and sourcing discussions.

Required profile

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, inventory management, manufacturing or distribution environments.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Comfort working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
