Procurement Specialist – Construction Projects

About the role

Worley Canada Construction is looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to support the procurement lifecycle for large‑scale industrial and energy projects. The role can be based on a project site or from a home office in Edmonton, working a 9‑days‑on, 5‑days‑off shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Review material requisitions from project teams and prepare RFQ/RFP packages.
• Source, evaluate, and recommend suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery criteria.
• Issue accurate purchase orders and manage order status through to invoice processing.
• Coordinate with suppliers to expedite deliveries and communicate any delays.
• Maintain procurement records, close out purchase orders, and generate reports for internal and client stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with project management, construction, quality control, accounts payable, and client representatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in industrial construction.
• Strong computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Diploma, degree, or certification in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
