Procurement & Inventory Control Coordinator

About the role

ANC Inc, a licensed cannabis producer in Edmonton, is looking for a highly organized Procurement & Inventory Control Coordinator. The role ensures seamless material flow and accurate inventory to support uninterrupted production while adhering to Health Canada regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase raw materials, packaging, office supplies, and production items.
• Obtain competitive quotes, negotiate pricing and lead times, and manage supplier agreements.
• Create purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve supplier issues.
• Maintain positive relationships with approved vendors and evaluate their performance.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct routine audits and cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP or inventory management systems and coordinate inter‑department transfers.
• Ensure all procurement and inventory activities comply with Health Canada Cannabis Regulations and internal SOPs.
• Prepare inventory, purchasing, and usage reports for management and support month‑end variance analysis.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, Finance, Compliance, and Operations teams to align material requirements with production schedules.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of experience in procurement and/or inventory control.
• Background in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably cannabis.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience in forecasting, demand planning, or order management.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
