Procurement Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Coordinator to keep operations running smoothly by ensuring the right materials, products and supplier support are available when needed. The role acts as a bridge between purchasing, operations, inventory management, suppliers and internal teams to prevent shortages and support day‑to‑day execution.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and process purchase orders generated by the ERP system or requested by operations.
• Follow up with vendors to confirm timely delivery and resolve order confirmations, pricing discrepancies, backorders and lead‑time concerns.
• Communicate delays, shortages, supply risks or delivery changes to internal stakeholders such as Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance and the Yard.
• Support urgent operational needs while maintaining proper purchasing controls and documentation.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships for assigned categories and locations, participate in supplier evaluations, cost reviews and sourcing discussions.
• Assist negotiation activities by providing analysis of pricing and terms.

Required profile

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, inventory management, manufacturing or distribution environments.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Comfort working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
