Private Home Child Caregiver

About the role

This full‑time position supports a family in Calgary by providing comprehensive childcare and household assistance in the employer’s home. The caregiver will ensure the safety, health, and well‑being of infants and children while the parents are away.

Key responsibilities

• Change diapers, sterilize bottles, and prepare formula.
• Bath, dress, feed, and supervise infants and children.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and scent‑free environment.
• Perform light housekeeping, cooking, and laundry as needed.
• Travel with the family and assist with childcare and household duties on trips.
• Prepare children for rest periods and manage daily schedules.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• Flexibility, initiative, organization, and strong time‑management skills.
• Patience, honesty, and the ability to work under pressure.
