Private Home Child Caregiver

About the role

This full‑time position supports a family in Toronto by providing comprehensive childcare and light household assistance in a private home setting. The caregiver will work closely with the parents to ensure the children’s daily needs are met while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Change diapers, assist with toilet training, and attend to personal hygiene.
• Prepare, sterilize, and serve bottles, formula, and nutritious meals.
• Bath, dress, and feed infants and children, and organize rest periods.
• Plan and supervise games, outings, and educational activities.
• Maintain daily activity and health records for each child.
• Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry duties.
• Travel with the family, providing childcare and household support during trips.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant childcare experience.
• Ability to follow parents’ guidance on training and routines.
• Criminal record check and references required.
