About the role
We are looking for a caring and reliable individual to provide full‑time child care in a private home in Oakville. The role involves supporting infants and young children throughout the day, ensuring their safety, well‑being and development in a warm family environment.
Key responsibilities
- Change diapers and attend to basic hygiene needs.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- Organise games, activities and outings for children.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods.
- Tend to the emotional well‑being of children.
- Cook meals as required.
Required profile
- Flexibility and good judgement.
- Organised, reliable and patient.
- Ability to work in a non‑smoking, scent‑free home.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Reference and background screening.
