Primary Health Care Nurse – Contact Centre

About the role

The Primary Health Care Team at Misericordia Health Centre is seeking a Nurse 3 to join its contact centre operations. This position works directly with the Health Links-Info Sante Manager and serves as the main liaison for contact centre nurses, providing hands‑on support and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of interaction for contact centre nurses, offering guidance and problem‑solving.
• Lead by example in a fast‑paced telephone triage environment.
• Identify operational issues and implement solutions to improve service quality.
• Support staff coaching, performance management, and professional development.
• Maintain compliance with CPR and other clinical standards.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years recent experience in contact‑centre telephone triage.
• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program; Baccalaureate preferred.
• Registration or eligibility with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
• Current CPR certification per employer policy.
• Active participation in professional nursing associations is a plus.
• Fluency in English preferred; French and additional languages considered assets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with multiple software applications used in contact‑centre settings.
• Strong computer literacy.
