Primary Care Paramedic – Permanent Full-Time (Core/Flex)

About the role

We are accepting expressions of interest for Permanent Full‑Time Primary Care Paramedic positions at our Thorhild station. The role follows a Core/Flex schedule of four days on, four days off, with orientation sessions scheduled for early October and December 2026. Associated Ambulance, the second‑largest ambulance operator in Alberta, offers a supportive, safety‑focused environment and a recruitment incentive for successful candidates.

Required profile

• Completion of an accredited Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) program.
• Active registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACoP) as a PCP.
• Current Basic Life Support – Healthcare Provider (BLS‑HCP) certification.
• Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator’s License with a clean driving abstract.
• Successful completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) within six months prior to the start date.
• Ability to commit fully to the full‑time schedule and disclose any potential conflicts.
