Pricing & Manufacturing Business Analyst (Controlling)

About the role

The Pricing & Manufacturing Business Analyst supports Airbus Helicopters Canada Limited by managing pricing strategies and monitoring gross margins across all product and service offerings. The role ensures that cost structures and pricing align with global standards and the company’s business plans.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor manufacturing costs, develop standard pricing practices for inter‑company parts, and calculate costing rates and burden rates.
• Track labor, material and overhead expenses; prepare monthly variance reports for manufacturing costs and rates.
• Collaborate with Finance, Programs and Customer Support to set annual selling rates and update bills of material.
• Maintain inventory valuation, oversee cycle counts and reconcile physical inventory.
• Convert and upload yearly spares pricing into the ERP system, and set selling prices for new inter‑company spare parts.
• Lead costing and pricing for R&D options, repair & overhaul services, and blade repairs, ensuring alignment with gross‑margin targets.
• Analyse competitor pricing and discuss pricing anomalies with the commercial office.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in cost analysis and financial reporting.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with finance, production planning and customer service teams.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in managing large data sets and variance analysis.
