Porter – Building Services (Full‑Time)

About the role

Join the Building Services team at Canadian Bank Note Company as a Porter. You will keep our Ottawa facilities clean, organized, and safe while supporting material movement in production areas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, polishing floors, cleaning windows, and emptying garbage.
• Maintain all building zones including offices, meeting rooms, cafeterias, locker rooms, and washrooms.
• Move goods on pallets using carts, pallet jacks, mobile hydraulic lifts, and forklifts.
• Stock departments with required supplies and transport finished products to designated locations.
• Prepare meeting rooms and client‑visit areas and adapt to dynamic daily tasks based on production demand.

Required profile

• Legally eligible to work in Canada and fluent in English.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance.
• Willingness to work any shift, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, and work in a moderate‑to‑loud environment.
• High school diploma and a growth‑mindset with reliable, punctual work habits.
