Policy Analyst

About the role
The Policy Analyst works within the Policy Branch of the Department of Community Services, providing policy planning, research, analysis, strategic planning, and program evaluation to support the department’s strategic goals.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and advise on policies, programs, corporate and legislative initiatives.
- Conduct research and analysis to support legislative and regulatory projects.
- Facilitate full‑cycle program development, review, and evaluation.
- Provide policy advice to senior management, the Minister and other decision‑makers.
- Coordinate support activities with the Minister’s Office.
Required profile
- Full‑time permanent position (75 hours bi‑weekly).
- Demonstrated experience in policy planning, research, analysis, strategic planning and program evaluation.
- Ability to clearly communicate essential qualifications in a resume, including dates of experience.
- Experience working in a public‑sector environment is preferred.
