About the role
The Calgary Police Service (CPS) is seeking dedicated individuals to serve as police officers. Candidates must demonstrate personal integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to the community.
Required profile
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident, at least 18 years old
- Class 5 driver’s licence with no more than five demerit points
- Pass medical/health and fitness standards and the Alberta Police Cognitive Ability Test (APCAT) within the last five years
- No unpardoned criminal convictions, pending charges, or criminal activity in the last three years
- One year clear of bankruptcy discharge
- Ability to obtain Enhanced Security Clearance
