Plumber – Commercial & Residential Installation

About the role

Deiana General Construction Ltd. is seeking an experienced plumber to join its team in Regina. The role involves installing, maintaining, and testing plumbing systems across commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of water supply, waste, and drainage networks.
• Cut openings in walls and floors, join pipes using couplings, clamps, soldering, brazing, or welding, and test for leaks with pressure gauges.
• Determine pipe sizing requirements and install gas heating units and related components.

Required profile

• Trade certification – Plumber Red Seal and Plumber Trade Certification.
• Valid Class 3 or D driver’s licence and own transportation.
• 5 + years of experience in commercial/residential plumbing.
• Physically demanding work – bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Pipe cutting, threading, and bending to required shapes.
• Soldering, brazing, and welding of pipe joints.
• Pipe sizing calculations and system design.
• Installation and servicing of gas heating units.
