Plasterer – Commercial & Residential Projects

About the role

We are looking for a skilled plasterer to join Moreno Stucco & Wire Ltd. in Edmonton. The role involves delivering high‑quality plaster and stucco finishes on commercial, industrial, institutional and residential projects across various sites.

Key responsibilities

• Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster on interior surfaces.
• Clean and prepare surfaces, and cure freshly plastered areas.
• Finish corners, angles and create decorative designs in the finish coat when required.
• Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency.
• Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim.
• Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings.
• Trowel or spray stucco on building exteriors to form weather‑proof surfaces.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of plastering experience.
• Ability to work at heights and in dusty, noisy, outdoor environments.
• Physically demanding work: bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads.
• Client‑focused, dependable, flexible, good judgement and a team player.

Required skills

• Plaster application and finishing.
• Stucco spraying and trowelling.
• Ornamental plaster panel installation.
• Mixing plaster compounds to precise consistencies.
