Planning & Fulfillment Specialist

About the role

Join ABB’s Motion Drive Products business as a Planning & Fulfillment Specialist. You will support the development and execution of planning and fulfillment processes, helping to improve on‑time delivery and lead‑time performance while maintaining inventory health.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
• Run MRP/ERP planning cycles and maintain accurate planning parameters.
• Coordinate with US and European factories on production schedules, delivery commitments, and supply risks.
• Track inbound shipments and provide visibility on delivery timelines.
• Analyze distributor inventory and sell‑through to recommend stocking strategies.
• Build and maintain dashboards for inventory health, supplier performance, and planning accuracy.
• Support new product introductions and item master data setup.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes and inventory performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in supply planning, inventory management or similar roles.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Experience working with distributors or channel partners is a plus.
