Physiotherapist Assistant / Kinesiologist

About the role

SOS Physiotherapy is seeking a full‑time or part‑time Physiotherapist Assistant/Kinesiologist to join its multidisciplinary team serving the Kitchener‑Waterloo community. The role involves collaborating with manual and manipulative physiotherapists to deliver evidence‑based patient care in a patient‑centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist physiotherapists with patient assessments, treatments, and documentation.
• Maintain patient flow and multitask in a busy clinic setting.
• Participate in weekly team sessions and monthly staff meetings.
• Support community events and promotional activities as needed.
• Utilize the electronic charting system for remote access and accurate record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Graduate of an Occupational Physiotherapist Assistant, Physiotherapist Assistant program, or holder of a Kinesiology degree.
• Interest in lifelong learning, professional development, and evidence‑based practice.
• Comfortable working within an interdisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, respectful, and able to foster a positive clinic atmosphere.
