Pharmacy Assistant

About the role

At Rexall Pharmacy Group, we are community difference makers dedicated to health and wellness. The Pharmacy Assistant supports the pharmacist in preparing, packaging, and dispensing patient prescriptions while ensuring compliance and inventory control.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions.
• Evaluate legality, interpret, and input prescriptions, labels, and consent forms into the pharmacy computer system.
• Complete documentation such as third‑party management, reconciliation, filling prescriptions, printing, and invoices.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify approaching or critical expiry dates.
• Perform cashier responsibilities as required.

Required profile

• Can‑do attitude when tasked with responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work weeknights and weekends.
